GARDEN ROOM BAR – WOODFORD, LONDON

Hawksbeck recently completed this outstanding garden room project in Woodford, London, creating a garden room bar and annexe. This garden room came from our Classic garden room range, covering 29.5sqm of our clients garden, cladded in Canadian red wood cedar panels. Inside the garden room, our clients chose to have Maverick laminate flooring, which looks great and is easy to keep clean.

This garden room features two rooms, a main bar and relaxed area and a small bathroom. This makes the garden room easy to adapt into an annexe should any guests want to stay over, with the sofa being able to change into a sofa bed. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet, and sink, with cross-patterned tiling and sleek, modern fittings. Whilst this shower room could be bigger, our clients wanted the bulk of their garden room to be given to the bar area.

The main section of the garden room is stunning, with a fully stocked bar area and lots of room to relax with guests. The bar is custom made, with beautiful wooden surfaces and a raised bar to sit at. The dark blue colour of the bar area contrasts against the dark varnish of the wooden bar surfaces. The industrial-style bar stools finish the look perfectly, creating a stylish, modern garden room bar perfect for a London home.

Next to the bar area is a space for our clients to relax, with a television and beautiful blue velvet sofa. The space available in this section gives our clients lots of options. With our garden rooms lasting over 60 years, this space can be easily changed into a guest annexe, home gym or anything else our clients wish.

Our clients chose to have bifold doors at the front of their garden room bar, bringing in lots of natural light to complement the downlights. It also allows their garden room to open onto their decking area, which is a great addition for the summer months when they want to throw summer parties and allow guests to easily switch between garden and garden room. On the exterior of the garden room we have installed two outdoor lights, which will provide ample warm lighting after the sun goes down and our clients continue partying!
