This multi-functioning garden room is from our modern range and features the addition of a roof overhang. The exterior of the garden room is finished in our insulating dura composite cladding in Alaskan cedar wood. This creates a luxurious contrast against the floor-to-ceiling height black framed bi-fold doors, which flood the space with natural light and connects the garden room to the outdoors. This then offers great garden views and easy access to the outdoor dining and seating area to help encourage social interaction. Tucked around the side of this garden room building (out of sight) are some hooks to store garden equipment such as sweeping brushes and spades. This modern garden room from Hawksbeck also comes complete with an internal integrated storage room, which is accessed by a door from the exterior. Having an integrated storage room in a garden room, provides a useful space to store extra garden equipment, removing the need for any extra unsightly sheds.
The interior flooring of the garden room is a light-coloured practical hardwood, a bespoke touch chosen by our client. The wood flooring warms the space to create a contrast against the classic white walls. White is a popular colour choice for walls, as they create an illusion of making spaces look bigger and paired with the bi-folding doors, they minimise shadows and offer an inviting, large space to socialise in.
The interior of this ultimate entertainment space is bright and spacious and is very much the heart of the garden room, complete with a bespoke fitted kitchen a garden room feature requested by our client. The kitchen space is an open plan style, complete with an induction hob, oven, and sink, all of which were installed by the Hawksbeck team as part of our full turn-key service. The kitchen has been further personalised to the client’s needs, as they have chosen a glossy blue and gold feature tile wall. This has become the focal point of the interior space. The gloss from the tiles reflects the room’s natural light which in turn helps to add to the illusion of an even bigger and brighter space.
Moving through the open plan space we come to a cosy living area, which also functions as a home garden room office, featuring a log wood burner, perfect for those up-and-coming winter nights or for a warm working environment. With the space also being equipped by the clients with a desk area, this really highlights the multi-functionality of this practical, peaceful garden room. It is perfect for those working-at-home days. This stunning garden room, also comes complete with a useful toilet and basin, removing the need to leave and return home.
