A 20sqm Garden Room from Our Modern Range

This bespoke 20sqm garden room was designed to provide a luxurious additional living space away from the main house. As part of our popular Modern Range, it features clean architectural lines, premium finishes and a spacious open-plan layout, making it ideal for relaxing, entertaining and spending quality time with family. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a practical yet stylish space that can be enjoyed throughout the year.

Contemporary Exterior with a 500mm Roof Overhang

The exterior design makes an immediate impression with its minimalist design and striking roofline. A 500mm roof overhang extends across both the front and side elevations, adding depth to the design while providing practical shelter from the elements. The overhang not only enhances the building’s contemporary appearance but also creates a welcoming entrance and helps frame the outdoor seating area.

Vertical Cedar Cladding Paired with Horizontal Hardie® Plank

One of the standout features of this project is the combination of vertical cedar cladding with horizontal Hardie Plank cladding. The rich natural tones of the cedar contrast beautifully with the crisp, modern Hardie finish, creating a sophisticated exterior that complements the surrounding garden. Cedar offers warmth and character, while Hardie Plank provides exceptional durability and low maintenance, giving homeowners the perfect balance of style and longevity.

Full-Width Aluminium Bifold Doors for Indoor-Outdoor Living

The front elevation is fitted with full-width aluminium bifold doors, allowing the garden room to open completely onto the patio outside. These large glazed doors flood the interior with natural light and create a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor living spaces.

During the warmer months, the bifold doors can be folded back to create one expansive entertaining area, making the garden room feel even larger while encouraging family and friends to enjoy the garden.

A Relaxing Lounge with an L-Shaped Sofa and Media Area

Rather than a home office or gym, this garden room was designed purely for relaxation. Inside, a large L-shaped sofa creates the perfect spot to unwind, whether it’s enjoying a quiet evening, watching a film or spending time with family.

A dedicated TV entertainment area completes the space, creating a comfortable lounge that feels every bit as inviting as the main living room inside the house. The generous 20sqm footprint provides plenty of room to relax without feeling crowded.
