For this recent Hawksbeck garden room project in Brent, London, our clients wanted to create a versatile space that could work equally well as a dedicated home office and a private gym. Measuring 10.44sqm, the new garden room from our modern range provides a practical, beautifully designed extension to their home, giving them a separate space to work, train and switch off without compromising on style.

Contemporary Exterior Design

The exterior combines a selection of premium finishes to give the garden room a striking contemporary appearance. The building is finished with vertical cedar cladding, adding warmth and natural character to the design. This is complemented by horizontal black Hardie cladding, creating a strong contrast between the two materials and giving the garden room a modern architectural feel. A 200mm overhang completes the design, providing a crisp, defined edge to the roofline while adding to the building’s overall contemporary appearance.
