Multifunctional Garden Room – Ware, Hertfordshire

This fully bespoke multi-room garden room is based in Ware, Hertfordshire. Our client chose to have a garden room from our Modern range with bifold doors and cedar cladding. The size of the garden room is 52 sqm and features a 500mm overhang to provide shelter from both the sun and rain. All our garden rooms are bespoke and are completely tailored toward our client’s individual needs, wants and desires. This striking multi-room garden room is luxurious, as it stands proud as a focal point in the garden.

Space and storage were important to our clients, and this is reflected by the large bifold door and white design choice featured on the inside. The windowed bifold door floods the natural light in and creates an optical illusion against the white walls, making the inside feel more spacious and airier. Space is critical for multifunctional rooms, as they fulfil many purposes and therefore can contain a lot of furnishings and equipment.

The bifold doors added to this multi-room garden room are also one of the most sociable doors, as they fully open the space and connect the inside to the outside. Bifold doors work even better when there are outside furnishings and seating, which our client has incorporated. We also provide paving, decking, and landscaping services to enhance the garden room and add more personality. The paving defines the garden room’s space and creates a sociable layout for the warmer spring and summer months.

This luxurious garden room also features a breakfast bar and kitchen area. An oven has been installed into the wall, alongside storage units to keep food and crockery. The space is perfect for hosting family, friends, or guests. Entertainment also becomes a lot more practical when you have the option to make food whilst conversing with guests within the same space. The kitchen is also ideal for making the most of the summer’s warmth – nothing like breakfast in the morning sun! All of our garden rooms are designed and built to building regulation standards, so you are able to use your garden room all year round.

Having a bathroom in a garden room doesn’t only save time, but it also is ideal for guests and convenient as it removes the need to keep going in and out of the house. Our client opted for a monochrome look with grey tiles and a white sink and toilet. The shower is silver with glass panels, which is ideal for making the room look bigger. Glass not only looks luxurious but also reduces shadows created which in turn, makes the room look more spacious.

The monochrome design choice is classy, effective and has a graphic simplicity to it. It works well in a functional space where clean lines and strong angels tend to dominate as the contrasts between the greys and textures (such as the tiled walls) create a bold statement.
