Bespoke Luxury Garden Room – Ingatestone, Essex
This luxurious garden room was completed by the Hawksbeck team in Ingatestone, Essex. The client opted for a bespoke Heritage design from our range of garden rooms and chose to have cedar cladding with bi-folding doors. Our client also decided to have their garden room building tucked away within foliage and trees at the back of their garden, making it a perfect retreat for a green get-away! To us at Hawksbeck, it is very important we always adhere to our clients’ needs as every garden room building we make is bespoke and tailored towards our client.
Inside this bespoke luxury garden room there is an area with a sink, adorned with multiple mugs and utilities for making coffee and tea. There is also a sofa and a TV fixed to the wall, ideal for relaxing away from the family home. It was important that this luxury garden room building was large enough to allow the social layout and decor the client wanted. The bi-folding doors not only flood the garden room with natural sunlight, but they are also vital for a more sociable layout. The bi-folding doors also stylishly connect the inside with the outside, which can be seen further with the seating area on the patio. Although an air conditioning unit was installed for warmer days, the doors also allow the client the option to control the temperature of their garden room naturally.
One of the benefits of choosing Hawksbeck for your garden room is that every garden building we build is bespoke to our client’s requirements. Instead of standard spotlights, we installed two rows of spotlight bars on either side of a wooden ceiling beam. The wooden beam creates a contrast against the white walls and echoes the design of the décor to create a more established aesthetic. This paired with our Heritage design; featuring a pitched roof and an outside porch truly creates a timeless and traditional look.
It was important to our client to install a shower room and toilet in this sumptuous garden room. Bathrooms in garden rooms can be very stylish, convenient and useful to have as it cuts out the journey time back to the house. To further tie into the traditional aesthetic this garden room building has a carefully thought-out colour scheme. The strong black accents on the shower, mirror, sink, and décor contrast with the white walls and white shower tiling. This all adds up to create a high-end monochrome look. However, as the client’s tastes change with time, black and white can become foundation colours. Strong accents of red, blue, or pink can look extremely stylish against the monochrome, as well as pots of green from house plants. The bathroom we installed in this garden room is not only stylish but is also very versatile!
This fully versatile garden room has also been designed with space and storage in mind. The kitchen sink area is built into striking blue cabinets and finished with silver handles. These storage cabinets are perfect for keeping cutlery, kitchen appliances, tea towels and tins of food out of sight. Having a fully fitted kitchen and storage areas built into a garden room can make a garden room truly multifunctional.
