This striking Hawksbeck Signature Range garden room, situated in a garden in Hove, East Sussex, was commissioned by a lovely client who was looking to make the most of their garden all year round. The client was looking for more space outside of their home, but they also wanted to create a space that would be multifunctional and meet both of their work from home requirements and their need for a workout space. This would to allow them to meet their fitness goals in the comfort of their own home. To create the ultimate productive, yet inviting space.
The solution: A luxury Hawksbeck garden room. This eye-catching Signature Range garden room has been clad in a natural cedar wood. Cedar wood makes for a stunning exterior choice, one which best reflects elements of the garden room’s natural surroundings. The cladding is beautifully contrasted against the sleek aluminium frame frontage, a design feature exclusive to the Hawksbeck signature range.
Exterior features
The front of the bespoke garden room features large 3m long aluminium framed bifold doors, in anthracite grey, a colour choice chosen by the clients themselves. The stunning bifold doors help to flood the room with an abundance of natural light and give the client the option to open the space up to the rest of the garden during the warmer months, for a seamless and effortless flow into the garden.
Further exterior design features include a handy decking area and large overhang, great for providing some protection from the UK’s unpredictable weather and ideal for creating a cosy seating under.
Interior features
The interior of this functional garden room space has a fresh flowing atmosphere, thanks to hardwearing wood floors and fresh white walls throughout, making for an airy and inviting interior.
This luxury garden room space has an impressive number of uses, which includes a productive home office workspace and a handy home workout area. To the right of the space, you will find a large desk area, ideal for working from and focussing on those important tasks, without the usual home distractions you may encounter when working within your home. The natural décor helps to bring a sense of calmness to the space, whilst at the same time increasing productivity.
The garden room is also used as a useful home workout gym, set up by the clients for weight training and cardio, with the space housing an impressive rowing machine, placed in front of the bifold doors to take advantage of the garden rooms garden views.
Another more hidden feature of this productive work and fitness studio is the rooms handy fully fitted and plumbed in toilet area, a true garden room luxury and ideal for those post workout freshen ups and toilet breaks.
