This garden room features two spacious rooms joined together by an internal adjoining door, each with its own separate access points. This stunning garden room sits seamlessly within the lush natural setting of our client’s Surrey garden. The striking green glow of nature contrasts beautifully against the cedar wood cladding of this Hawksbeck heritage garden room.  Our client’s garden room roof is tiled in Spanish natural slate, creating an impactful yet sympathetic exterior appearance. Our heritage range is best known for its classic, timeless aesthetic and traditional pitched roof. The exterior of the garden office and gym is also fitted with external lighting, that when turned on adds a beautiful subtle glow to the building.

Another striking feature of this bespoke Surrey-based garden room is its beautiful floor-to-ceiling height bifold doors and picture frame windows, all hand-picked and finished to the customer’s unique design specification. The owners of this garden room chose a deep anthracite grey colour for their aluminium framed windows and bifold doors. They even opted to have integrated blinds in all their glazing to create a truly unique and private space.  With the flick of a button, it allows you to shut out the outside world, providing you with the perfect quiet space for work or for a workout.

Interior design features

When first walking into the interior of this beautiful garden office or gym, you are instantly struck by the room’s internally vaulted ceiling with exposed beams.  This desirable feature adds a sense of grandeur to the garden room’s interior and makes the space feel light and airy. The garden room is split into two separate areas via an internal pocket door that sections the home office area from the fitness workout space.

Hidden pocket door

The benefits of choosing a pocket door over a more traditional hinge door are that they don’t take up any space and they blend seamlessly into the wall cavity, giving the option to hide the door away. This hidden door feature helps to keep the space feel as open as possible to maintain the room’s multi-functionality. Additional interior features include WIFI and smart TV connection, which allow you to stay connected and productive throughout the space.

Air conditioning installation

This stunning multi-functional garden room has also been fitted with an integrated air-conditioning unit, another bespoke request by the owners.
