YOGA STUDIO GARDEN ROOM, SHENFIELD

Paul and Jane approached Hawksbeck Garden Rooms for a bespoke garden room that could be used as a yoga and fitness studio. This is the perfect garden room for this couple in Shenfield, giving them 15sqm of new living space. This new space can be used for a multitude of different purposes, but our clients wanted to create a piece of heaven in their garden to meditate and practice yoga inside.

Most noticeably, this small garden room stands out due to the porch section and porch step. It frames the garden room, and makes the inside seem cosier and separate from the garden area. The bifold doors bring lots of natural light into the room and great ventilation in the summer months. The European Red Wood Cedar cladding has a dark earthy colouring that stands out the lighter colours of the garden and skyline. Altogether, the exterior appearance of this small garden room is earthy, bold and beautiful.

Our clients wanted to use this space as a yoga sanctuary, a peaceful place to meditate and reflect outside of the family home. The interior décor needed to be calming and spacious, with few belongings to create an un-cramped environment. The cream walls and the grey flooring keep this room feeling bright and airy which is perfect for a yoga studio! The colourful yoga mats help to add a splash of colour, whilst the writing on the wall creates a focus point that strengthens the calming message of the room.

For a small garden room like this, there are many different ways to decorate to make the most of the space. Most importantly, the type and amount of light in a small garden room can make a big difference in how it looks and feels. To maintain a spacious interior appearance, it is wise to have as much natural light as possible entering your garden room.
