With this project, our client opted for a garden room based on our Classic range at the size of 20 sqm with an aluminium bifolding door and cedar and MGO cladding.

The exterior to this garden room gym is a striking grey with cedar and MGO cladding. This can catch the eyes of many and allows the fitness studio to stand proudly in our client’s garden, becoming a focal point of the outside space. The grey paired with the light greens of nature within the garden makes for a contemporary combination. It adds a look of sophistication to the exterior of the garden room gym.
The bifolding doors added to this garden room are a fantastic way to control the temperature of the garden room gym and provide ventilation. Not only this, but these doors flood the natural light in and brighten the fitness gym space. The full body mirrors also help to reflect the natural light coming through from the bifolding doors, and the light from the spotlights fixed into the ceiling. A brightly lit space is essential for a home garden gym! If it is not brightly lit, there is a chance of injury or accident as the fitness machines and gym equipment can be large and heavy.
A bold green feature wall cascades the back wall. As well as contrasting with the grey exterior of the garden room gym and creating a sophisticated look, it is also invigorating and connects with nature. It can be a much-needed buzz when you’re working out and pushing your body to the limit. Alongside another wall are full body mirrors. Full body mirrors allow our client to achieve peak fitness performance. They can use the mirrors to correct their form and track their progress. It also means in that there is nobody else taking up mirror space as you may get in a public gym! By having their own private space, our client can track their progress easily and efficiently.
With electrics installed by our team using armoured cabling, our client can use the flatscreen, wall-mounted TV. This is a great way to provide entertainment while working out – whether it’s catching up on missed episodes, checking in with the news or listening to music channels!

Very pleased with our outbuilding/gym. Hawksbeck were extremely useful throughout the whole process from initial thoughts/budgeting through to planning (and planning application), problem-solving and finally the fit and finish. The installation team in particular were great, working all hours to get the job done on time and also keeping us in the loop day-to-day with any decisions that needed to be made to keep things on time!
The building looks like its belonged there the whole time which I think is a sign of how great a job they have done!
