Hawksbeck completed this spacious luxury garden room from our Heritage range, featuring a stunning pitched roof. Situated in the grounds of a home in Billericay, Essex, this garden room is the perfect living space for this family, with a shower room, living space and gym section. This large garden room will last over 60 years for our clients, and has been built to building standards, allowing guests to stay overnight inside.

There are many benefits to having a pitched roof on your garden room, with the greater head height allowing for more lighting options. In this Heritage luxury garden room, our clients have chosen two sets of lights on each sloped side. These direct light into the centre of the room, which compliments the natural light entering from the bifold doors at the front of the garden room.

The extra head height is visually attractive and changes the way the garden room feels. A pitched roof like the ones in our Heritage range, create the appearance of a more spacious, open, and airy living area, which is great for gyms and annexes. Our clients have kept the room open with the stud partition wall leaving an open walkway through to the gym room. We love this creative way of dividing up the space, without needing extra internal doors or closing off sections completely.

Our clients have chosen to have one set of bifold doors in the main section of their garden room, bringing in natural light to the centre of the living space. In the gym area, they have two glass panels to encourage more natural light into this darker leisure section. The bifold doors will offer lots of ventilation to the room, while the aircon helps to keep the garden room cool and comfortable in the summer months. Our garden rooms have unrivalled insulating qualities from the Structurally Insulated Panel’s we use to build them.

This luxury garden room also features a small shower room, perfect for when our clients want to freshen up after their workout in their new gym space! Inside this bathroom, our clients have chosen to have a modern black metal shower with marbled tiling and a white shower tray. The industrial metal styling is carried through with the sink fitting, with a wide basin and metal frame, finished with industrial metal taps.

From the outside, the exterior of this garden room is stunning, with cedar cladding that is a beautiful deep colour. On the front of the garden room our clients have chosen two outdoor lights on either side of the bifold door, so the garden room is easy to access at night. We work with our clients every step of the design phase, to ensure the finished product both looks and functions exactly as desired.
