SMALL GARDEN ROOM – LOUGHTON, ESSEX

The Hawksbeck team has completed several projects in Loughton, Essex, recently, with great finished products. Our clients chose a Classic Hawksbeck Garden Room, with a roof overhang for shelter at the front of the garden room and a flat roof. The cladding on this garden room was chosen by our client and fitted by us, with their choice being a composite type of cladding, similar to cedar. There are many different types of cladding to choose from for your garden room, which all have different colours and finishes.

This small garden room has one main room inside, which has been decorated to be a working area and a space to relax. To one side of this room, there is a desk and chair for our clients to work from, with the bright light from the custom glazing panel creating the perfect working environment. On the other side of the room, away from the brighter natural lighting, is a softer area to relax in, with a sofa, beanbag, and television.

Whilst being a smaller garden room, the features inside are the same as our most luxurious garden rooms. Our clients chose to have a fitted air conditioning unit, to give them complete control over the temperature of their garden room. Alongside the natural light entering this small garden room, our clients chose down lights to provide warm light at night. On the exterior, we have fitted two exterior lights to light up the garden room and create a stunning external appearance.

Our clients opted to have both a custom glazing panel and French doors. The French doors open this garden room into the garden, and the window panel to the side of this allows those looking at the garden room to see through at an angle. Whilst a small addition, this window has a big impact to how this garden room looks, which, paired with the overhang at the front, creates a modern appearance.

It is important to note that every Hawksbeck Garden Room can be adapted to your tastes, preferences, and space requirements. For this small garden room, it was important to our clients to not take up all the garden space. We designed a garden room that was large enough for their garden office needs, but not too large that it took over the garden completely. The finished modest garden room fits into this garden perfectly, with ample room for other garden features to go alongside it.
