Hawksbeck is thrilled to showcase a recently completed luxury garden room project in Hampstead Heath, London. This garden room, based on our classic range garden room design has been transformed into a unique and bespoke space by our team. The project exemplifies our commitment to delivering garden rooms that exceed our client’s expectations while allowing them to add their own personal touches.
Key Garden Room Features
This garden room in Hampstead boasts a stunning exterior with Shou Sugi Ban cladding in Kebony Radiata Pine, a technique that uses the ancient Japanese art of charring timber. This distinctive and eye-catching cladding adds a touch of elegance to the garden room while providing increased durability and weather resistance.
The front elevation is adorned with three sets of crittle effect aluminium bifolds, which not only enhance the overall look of the exterior but also allow an abundance of natural light to flood the interior space.
This luxury garden room features a custom two-height roof with a sustainable sedum finish. This eco-friendly roofing system not only adds visual interest but also provides numerous environmental benefits, such as reducing stormwater runoff and improving air quality.
The sedum roof also helps to insulate the space, making it comfortable throughout the year. Sedum roofs are popular on garden rooms as a way of replacing any garden that is lost from the footprint of building the garden room.
Bespoke Garden Room Interior
The interior of the garden room has undergone bespoke customisations to create a unique and inviting space. The clients have opted for 4 metres worth of ceiling roof lights, which flood the room with natural light and create a bright and airy atmosphere. This design choice promotes a sense of well-being and connection with the outdoor environment.
To create a rustic yet sustainable look and feel, the interior of the garden room has been ply-lined, adding warmth and character to the space. This bespoke ply lining creates a harmonious blend of natural materials, providing a cosy and inviting atmosphere.
