Garden Room with not one but three main functions

This multi-purpose garden room has three main functions: from 9 till 5, the space is a productive office area, ideal for focusing on work tasks and a quiet space for holding meetings. Then during the weekends and evenings, it becomes a home gym workout space, perfect for keeping active during the winter and just a stone’s throw from the house. Finally, there’s an extra room designed for storage – kitted out as a handy laundry room with built-in appliances, including a fridge-freezer and tumble dryer.

The garden room is light-filled due to sliding doors and expansive wrap-around corner windows.

This cosy yet super multi-functional space is filled with natural light due to the expansive wrap-around corner window and sleek sliding door, both double-glazed and sealed, so noise from outside is kept at bay.  This combined with Hawksbeck’s use of structurally insulated panels means plenty of heat is kept in, ensuring a warm and quiet garden room space all year round. The windows and door frames are made from uPVC, which means they are durable, long-lasting, and easy to maintain, as they can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge.

To the rear of the garden room, you will find a hidden dura-cladded exterior door, which opens into to a small separate room used by the clients as a handy outside utility room and storage area.  Our clients have used this space to hide away a fridge, freezer and even a tumble dryer, all powered through the garden rooms electrical connection, which the Hawksbeck team took care of.
